There are many unsung heros that have supported me along my educational journey. Today, I would like to give a heartfelt thank you to my boss, Linda Trevarthen. Linda’s leadership style is empowering. Without her support, I’d probably still be contemplating whether or not the journey is worth the trouble. Linda understands the importance of balancing work, family, and school. She has always accommodated my needs and doesn’t make me feel guilty for needing to take off time to tend to my family or to deal with the responsibilities of being a student.
Linda truly exemplifies all of the qualities of being a great boss! It is with great pride, admiration and privilege that I have the opportunity to work with her every day. Thank you for offering a hand and for encouraging me to follow my dreams.
